Updates...

Well, we got to do a bridal session with the beautiful Elizabeth this past weekend at her reception site, the Gov. Thomas Bennett House, in downtown Charleston. They are amazing!! Unfortunately I cannot post any until the big day. We don't want Jeff stumbling across them now do we!! I can't wait until I can post some. She is just so darn photogenic.

Next up is bridals for Jennifer. She would like to get some inside, so we are working with The Vendue Inn of Historic Downtown Charleston. If you are still looking for a reception place or just a wonderful place to stay on your wedding night, do yourself a favor and check this place out. It's 5 stars all the way!

Stay tuned to the blog, we have 3 weddings in September so there should be plenty of posts!!

Alicia and Anthony's Wedding Album

We got Alicia and Anthony's Wedding Album in from AsukaBook. It came in an elegant black glossy slide in case with their names embossed in silver on the front. Very classy. The overall book is superb! We chose the Varnish finish on the pages, and man does it pop! They are going to love this book all the way to their 50Th Anniversary!!

Jeff and Liz's Guest Sign-In Book

We finally got Jeff and Liz's Sign-In Book!! We are using AsukaBook for these books along with some of our large Wedding Albums. I will say, they look amazing!!! These books are not short in quality!! I know they will love it! We also ran across this company that make "Statuettes" from 8x10 pictures. So we ordered one to compliment the Book at the Wedding. We pride ourselves on being "different". I will say I have not seen anything like this at any other weddings!!

Jennifer and Josh E-Session

We got around to taking Jennifer and Josh out to do their Engagement Portraits this past weekend. It has been SUPER hot recently, so we decided to head out extra early to try to beat the heat. We ended up shooting out at Mepkin Abby, a Monks Monastery here in SC, and we got there as soon as they opened the gates! Needless to say it got hot fast! We were able to get a good hour and a half in before the heat really set in. The shots came out great. I never knew how much a ham Josh was until this day! "That's how I roll".............priceless.

Camryn's 9th Birthday Party

Time to get you updated!

We had my oldest daughters 9Th birthday party out on my in-laws boat. We got to do some tubing and Aqua gliding. Along with getting to go out to an island out in the Charleston Harbor that has some rich history to it. The kids had a blast looking for shark's teeth and just exploring the island. Afterwards we had some cake and opened up her presents. All in all, I think she had a grand ol' time!

Enjoying the break....

Well, it's been a nice long break between weddings. I did go help my good friend Linda from Photography by Caro-lind up in Greenville, SC. I always enjoy helping her, she's the one who got my foot in the door with wedding photography. She took me under her wing and showed me ropes! For that I will always be grateful and willing to lend a hand or camera!!

We've got a few months with nothing booked before Sept. We will be very busy that month, but we've got some Engagements and Bridals to shoot before then so be on the look out for some more picture posts!! My oldest daughter, Cami, just turned 9 and will be having her party out on the boat. I'm hoping to get some great shots from it!! I have rented the Canon 85 1.2L from http://www.borrowlenses.com/ . If you ever want to try a lens out before dropping the grand or two on it these guys/gals are super! It's way easy to set up an account and the shipping is fast and smooth. They even print out the return label for you so all you have to do is repackage it after your done and drop it off at the local Fedex. Highly reccommended!

Heather And Ryans Wedding

On May 11th 2008 we got to capture Heathers and Ryans big day. It was special since it was on Mothers Day. It was a blustery day with thunderstorms l00ming in the horizon, but the forecast inside Alhambra Hall was beautiful with spots of joy. Heather was beautiful and calm, and the ceremony was elegant. The 3 piece orchestra played and every one's eyes were on the beautiful bride as she walked down the isle. I've shot numerous weddings and have seen all styles of 1st dances. This 1st dance will forever be in my memory. Heather and Ryan danced to a beautiful song by LifeHouse, "Everything", and seemed to just float across the floor. They were totally lost in each other, as if they were the only 2 people in the room. It was very romantic and reminded me why I'm in this business. Thank You so much Heather and Ryan for letting us capture your Wedding Day.
