Kisha and Jacobs Engagement Session

Getting behind on this blog again!!!!

We took Kisha and Jacob downtown a last week to shoot their Engagement pictures during a beautiful Charleston sunset. They will be getting married in May of 2009.

It was a bit chilly this day, not to bad. We had such a good time with them. Kisha is a tad shy by nature, but Jacob did an awesome job of making her feel comfortable and it shows in the pictures. They turned out great!! I look forward to the bridal session and then the big day!!!

Tara and Campions Engagement Session

Today we went out with Tara and Campion (coolest name ever!) to
Magnolia Gardens in West Ashley. This garden/plantation is beautiful during the blooming season, but since its fall the only blooming going on was coming from Tara and Campion. We kinda just walked around the plantation and found some cool locations. We even got to see Campion get attacked by a donkey!! lol. He really liked your shirt!

Claudia and Bryans Engagement Session

We spent a few hours wandering Downtown Charleston with Claudia and Bryan today to do their Engagement Session. They wanted to have a laid back and relaxed session, so we just strolled around looking for spots to use. We had such a good time. Claudia and Bryan met online through Match.com We thought that was super cool!! They are truly in love and it shows in all their pictures.

Laurel and Dans Wedding

On November 1st we got cover Laurel and Dans wedding at James Island County Park. It was a gorgeous fall day, with a perfect sunset. The ceremony was intimate, and the presider had some funny stories to add. It was great. The reception was held at the park inside the Edisto Hall. They had a band that rocked the house!! I wish I could remember their names, but we lost their card. Doh!! Here are a few images from the wedding day.

Project "Home Studio/Office"

We are in the midst of converting our garage into a home studio/office for Mark Anthony Photography. Our work load is growing along with our "stuff"!! With more work comes more equipment so we are starting to run out of room in our little office/playroom/computer room/hangout. lol.

I'll post some pictures up once we get it cleaned out and prepped for some drywall work and lighting installation. I'm SUPER excited and can't wait till its done!!! Every photographers dream is to have his/her own studio. Though it isn't like having one in a shopping plaza, it still gives me the space to do studio work if needed.

We will keep you posted!!!

Vendue Inn shoot "Girls Night Out"

We were lucky enough to get chosen to cover the Vendue Inn's Girls Night Out photo shoot for "I DO" magazine. This shoot was to showcase The Vendue Inns package for the ladies. They get a luxury room with Champagne, a trip to East Bay Nail and Spa for a manicure and pedicure. Then up to The RoofTop Bar for Martinis. A special thanks to Brett, Courtney and Brittney for modeling for us and being such good sports!! You girls rock!!!

Elena and Gianni's Wedding

We were blessed with the opportunity to be apart of Elena and Gianni's intimate wedding ceremony in gorgeous Hilton Head Island, SC. The ceremony took place at The Sea Pines Resort and Beach Club. They had a beautiful beach wedding with the perfect South Carolina Sunset in the background. It was attended by about 14 of their closet friends and family. It was super sweet. The toasts at the dinner were amazing. One of the most heartfelt toasts I've heard to date. Made Reneka cry....again. Lol. Congratulations and thank you, Elena and Gianni!!!

Jennifer and Josh's Wedding Day

We got to spend the day of Sept 13th with Jennifer and Josh covering their big day. The wedding was in the beautiful Grace United Methodist Church located in West Ashley. Then the reception was held at the newly renovated Marriot of Downtown Charleston. This was a traditional Filipino wedding, which involves many unique customs. It was extremely beautiful and touched me since my mother is Filipino. The reception was a blast! Jennifer had a ton of out of town guests, seemed there was one from every state!! lol. Congratulations Jennifer and Josh!!!

Jennifer's Bridals

We got to do Jennifer's Bridals in the Historic Vendue Inn located in downtown Charleston. This Inn is beautiful, so it was a perfect match for Jennifer! There is so much history to this Inn. Susie Ridder, the General Manager, gave us a quick tour and was so nice to let us use her Inn for an on location shoot. Jennifer was a bit shy at first, as most brides are, but it didn't take long for her to fall into her groove. Can't wait for the big day!!!!
