TinkerBell and Snow White

Well the 2 new additions to our family have finally arrived. Tinkerbell and Snow White, aka Tink and Snowy, are miniature dachshunds. My mother in law breeds them and sends them to happy homes. We were one of the lucky families. The original plan was to only bring home TinkerBell, but with 2 daughters that is almost impossible. My girls have two totally different personallities, so getting one dog that fits them both wasn't going to happen. It's great though, watching my girls play with their new puppies brings me as close to being that age again as possible. Here are a few "glamour shots" of the girls. BTW, my daughters named them, so no wise cracks on the names! lol.

The Hardin Family

I had the honor of taking family photos for this wonderful family last Sunday at Folly Beach, SC. It was rather chilly this day. I believe the temperature was about 55 degrees. The entire family, Brandon, Joy, Graham and Collin took it in stride though! They were such great subjects. The boys kept me laughing the whole time. I caught myself not being able to take the shot because I was laughing so much. Brandon is in the Navy and will be deployed soon so it was my privilege to capture their family's bond and love for one another before he left. My prayers are with them while he fights for our freedom abroad.

Jeff and Elizabeth's E-Session Part 1

My good friends Jeff and Elizabeth went with us and 2 other couples to spend the weekend in Gatlinberg, Tenn. It was an awesome time. The cabin we stayed in was right on the side of a mountain so the views were amazing! We planned on doing an E-Session there and then another back here in Charleston, SC. Considering we hiked up a mountain for 2.7 miles to get to this spot, they came out great. I'm looking forward to our E-Session here in Charleston. There are so many beautiful locations in Historic Downtown Charleston.

Brandy and Sean's E-Session

I did an Engagement Session with Brandy and Sean this past Sunday. They are getting married next year in April. It was so much fun shooting with them. Their youthfulness was a nice reminder of just how much I have to look forward too with my two daughters. Brandy is the cutest thing ever and Sean seems to be the perfect fit in her life. I can't wait until April, it should be a beautiful wedding! Thanks again Brandy and Sean for allowing me to capture these wonderful moments in y'alls lives!

Halloween Party at Willies' Bar and Grill

Tonight is the Halloween Bash at my parents Bar and Grill that I work at. Willies' is a local Bar and Grill that my family purchased about 7 years ago and my wife and I have worked at off and on over the years. You can bet I'll be taking my camera, so I'll post some pictures tomorrow!

Wireless Flash Triggers

I've recently purchased a wireless trigger for my portable flashes. I'm looking forward to learning how to use off camera flash in my weddings and portraits. My next wedding isn't until March, so I've got ample time to test it out. I've seen many sites showing the creativity of off camera flash. I will be sure to post some test shots up here for all of you to view!

Frosty and Marie's Wedding Day

We had such a good time with Frosty and Marie. They got married at the Shearton and had the reception there as well. Wish we could have used some of the outside locations for formals, but it was SO humid that I was afraid to have them out there. Would have looked like I threw them into the pool!
